GRS Product Overview

A decision support system that provides more visibility into and control of the software development process. It gathers software development metrics and organizes data into user views (dashboards) based on the needs of various types of users, such as managers, architects, developers, and testers.

Parasoft Group Reporting System (GRS) is a decision support system that provides more visibility into and control of the software development process. It is a repository of software development metrics. GRS automatically collects and correlates a variety of development data from multiple sources, including code activity, test results, code coverage, requirements, and corrected bugs. It generates reports that allow users to answer questions like: "Does code meet coding standards?" and "What confidence fac­tor level was achieved?" In a nutshell, GRS provides details about software quality, implementation of new features, and software security.

GRS combines information from multiple sources, which allows users the ability to make objective decisions. The information that GRS gathers is organized in such a way that it is delivered to different user roles within the organization to support their decision system. GRS works as part of a comprehensive team-wide Automated Error Prevention solution that reduces delivery delays and improves the quality and security of complex, multi-language enterprise applications.
